Neurotech is supported by a seasoned group of investors who specialize in life science and biotechnology investment. The Company completed a $35 million Series B round of financing in September 2006 that was led by Burrill and Company, with significant participating investments made by Versant Ventures and SV Life Science. Apax Partners (France) and Merlin BioSciences (UK), the leads in the Company's previous financing round, also invested in the Series B round, as did 3i (UK), Atlas Venture (US), Omega (Switzerland), Nexus Medical Partners (US) and Pound Capital (US).
