Neurotech Board Changes
Lincoln and Paris, March 14, 2005 – Neurotech announced today
that Bernard Chauvin has resigned as Non-Executive Chairman in order
that Neurotech can appoint a Chairman with a North American presence.
Neurotech has made significant progress over the past two years
and has evolved from its French origin into a predominantly US business.
Based out of Lincoln, Rhode Island, the team continues to benefit
from the leadership of Bernard Davitian as President, as well as
Weng Tao – Chief Scientific Officer and Vice President of
Research & Development, Bill Tente –Vice President of
Manufacturing, and the recently appointed Al Reaves – Vice
President of Clinical Development.
Neurotech is currently seeking an experienced US-based Chief Executive
Officer as well as a Non-Executive Chairman who will take the company
forward in its next step of development.
Elkan Gamzu, who is a Non-Executive Director, has taken up the
post of interim Chairman until such time as a Chairman is appointed.
Elkan is based in the greater Boston area and as such is better
placed geographically to support Neurotech’s US operations.
